Cattolica sponsors 2020 Premio Campiello finale
The 2020 Premio Campiello will take place in a unique setting. Piazza San Marco in Venice will host the five finalists in an evening dedicated to Italian literature. The event will take place on Saturday, September 5 at 20.30 and will be live streamed by the Rai via this link.
This year’s finalists are Patrizia Cavalli, with Con passi giapponese (Einaudi); Sandro Frizziero, with Sommersione (Fazi Editore); Francesco Guccini, with Tralummescuro. Ballata per un paese al tramonto (Scrittori Giunti); Remo Rapino, with Vita, morte e miracoli di Bonfiglio Liborio (Minimum Fax) and Hades Zeno, with L’incanto del pesce luna (Bollati Boringhieri).
The event is strongly supported by Cattolica Assicurazioni, which has renewed its commitment for this 58th edition. More than half a century after it was established, the prize continues to represent one of the most valid expressions of the union between the region and the Venetian entrepreneurial fabric, a union that Cattolica continues to support. “The promotion of culture and talent, two aspects that have made Italy famous throughout the world,” says the Veronese company, “serves as a cornerstone for recovery in this difficult phase for our country”.
