Chairman of Cattolica Assicurazioni, Fondazione Cattolica Assicurazioni and TUA Assicurazioni. Has been a Director of the Cattolica Assicurazioni Group since 1999. A member of the Management Board of ANIA and the Management Board of FeBAF. A member of the Chamber of Commerce of Verona and of the Board of Trustees of Fondazione Arena. Previously Chairman of Coldiretti Verona, Chairman of the Veneto Regional Federation of Coldiretti and National Chairman of Coldiretti. Has been a member of the CNEL (National Economic and Labour Council), Vice-Chairman of COPA-COGECA (Committee of Professional Agricultural Organisations-General Confederation of Agricultural Cooperatives of the European Union) and a member of the EESC (European Economic and Social Committee). For his service to agriculture and its development in Europe, he was awarded the honour of Cavaliere dell’Ordine francese del Mérite Agricole. He is also Commander of the Order of San Gregorio Magno of the Vatican State and Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.

Prior to joining Cattolica, he was Chief Actuary at Aviva and Head of Actuarial Reporting at Allianz. Also involved in issues relating to the implementation within the company of Solvency II and IFRS 17 processes and systems and the issue of effective communication of results. A Member of the Order of Actuaries.

Born in Milan in 1962, he graduated with a Law degree and supplemented his studies with a specialization in Executive Management earned at the London Business School. He has been at Cattolica since March 2015, in the position of Director Responsible for the Life and Social Security Department for three years, before being appointed Audit Director in April 2018. Previously he worked in the Helvetia Insurance Group as Chief Executive Office and General Manager of the Helvetia Vita and Chiara Vita Companies. Until June 2008 he worked in the Allianz Group, where he spend almost 18 years, most of that at the RAS subsidiary, which he joined in 1991, holding various positions, both in Italy and abroad. Having completed his University studies and up to 1991 he spent two year in the Claims Department of the Italian Branch of the Zurich Group.

Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the Cattolica Assicurazioni Group, and Chairman of Cattolica Immobiliare and Cattolica Services. Has been General Manager Markets and Distribution Channels with responsibility for the agency network, Bancassurance and Strategic Marketing and previously held the position of CFO, Investor Relations Officer and head of M&A and Group equity investments, including in his capacity as Deputy General Manager of Cattolica. Within the Generali Group he was a Marine underwriter at the UK Branch and on the staff at General Management, where he was responsible for coordinating the Administration and Finance area. Gained experience of risk financing with the Marsh Group and was a Senior Director at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte, working in Financial Advisory Services for the main Italian insurance and banking groups. Also a Senior Banker at ABN Amro and Managing Director at Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, head of the Financial Institutions Group. Currently a member of ANIA’s Management Board and Executive Committee.

Has managed business innovation and digital transformation programmes throughout his career for leading insurance and bancassurance players in Italy and abroad. Also on the Board of Directors of IMA Italia Assistance and IMA Servizi since April 2019.

Began his professional career as an auditor at Deloitte. Subsequently became a Senior Analyst at Tamburi Investment Partners, gaining significant experience in both direct investment and advisory services in the M&A and corporate finance areas. Joined the Cattolica Group in 2009 as Investment Manager, becoming CEO Business Assistant in 2017.

Began his career as a Quantitative Analyst at Fineco Asset Management before joining the Allianz Group, holding positions of increasing responsibility before becoming Chief Investment Manager & Head of Financial Engineering for the Italian legal entity. After management experience in Munich for Allianz Investment Management and Allianz Reinsurance, he became Deputy Global Head of Asset-Liability Management and Strategic Asset Allocation for the Company. Has written several publications and speaks at international events.

Joint General Manager of Cattolica in charge of the Insurance Area since January 2020.
Began his career in 1988 at Generali, where he remained until 2017. After some experience abroad, he returned to Trieste in 1996 to take the role of Group Insurance Operations Area Manager, guiding the Group's activities in the United Kingdom, the EEC region and Asia. From 2002 to 2007, he was Central Director responsible for Generali’s foreign insurance business and, from 2007 to 2012, Deputy General Manager, also with responsibility for reinsurance. Has been responsible for Generali’s core insurance and reinsurance business since 2013, joining the Group Management Committee in 2016 as Group Chief Insurance Officer. Joined Cattolica in May 2018 as General Manager of the Technical and Operations Area.

Born in Pontedera in 1967, Marconcini grated in Political Sciences, specialising in Marketing and Communication. He worked as a teacher and university lecturer, before undertaking the role of consultant and Director in the field of Organisation and Human Resources within national and internation companies, holding positions of increasing prestige and responsibility. During his career, he has worked on change management and corporate reorganisation projects, finalising sustainable transformations over time. At Cattolica, since March 2015 to January 2020, he holds the position of Group Organisation and Resources Director. Since January 2020 he has been Deputy General Manager and Chief Operations Officer.

Subsequently Director of the Non-Motor Non-Life business of Unipolsai and Chief Executive Officer of Siat. Currently a member of the BoD of R.I.N.A. (Italian Naval Register).

After experience as a researcher in mathematical analysis at the University of Trieste, he moved closer to the insurance sector, obtaining a master’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management at the MIB Trieste School of Management before working at Assicurazioni Generali and Fineco Vita. Subsequently an analyst at various financial institutions – Banca Leonardo, Credit Agricole and Kepler Cheuvreux – where he held positions of increasing responsibility. Joined the CFO area of the Cattolica Group in 2015, first as Head of Group Management, Planning and Capital Management Control and then as Investor Relations Officer. A CFA Charterholder since 2004.

Developed his career at Cattolica Assicurazioni, which he joined in October 2007, after experience at Coldiretti in the Delegation for Relations with EU Institutions in Brussels. After more than seven years at the Special Projects Office, he also worked on the investigation and assessment of transactions with related parties at Consob, in the Related Party Transactions Monitoring Unit. Head of the Group Secretariat from February 2015 to August 2017, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Before his current role, he was an officer for Extraordinary Corporate Transactions until November 2019, when he was appointed Head of Secretariat and Corporate Requirements.

A professional journalist, he began his career at Il Tempo newspaper before moving on to the Adnkronos news agency. Worked as New York correspondent for ANSA between 1997 and 2000, also collaborating with Adnkronos, Sole 24 Ore, Il Tempo, Liberal and L’Espresso, and founded NOVA - Associazione Italiana MBA in 1999 with other students at Columbia University. Joined H3G as a business communicator in 2001. Subsequently joined Finmeccanica’s press office, before becoming Director of External Relations at Ansaldo STS and lastly Head of International Media and Trade Press, again at Finmeccanica. Before joining Cattolica he was also Head of Media Relations at Enel, Head of the Press Office at TIM and a partner at Comin & Partners from 2015 to 2018.

A Cavaliere dell’Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana, he has served on various boards of directors during his career, including VEGa S.C.A.R.L. and Veneto Sviluppo S.p.A. and as General Director of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo. Already a member of ministerially appointed working groups on the innovation and digitalisation of the public administration, during his career, which began at the Ministry of the Interior and the Prime Minister's Office, he has served as Director of Avepa, an operating entity for the payment of aid, premiums and contributions – to the economic and non-economic sector – of the Veneto Region. Before joining Cattolica, he also held the position of Implementing Party for the management of the Storm Adrian emergency on behalf of the Delegated Government Commissioner. A drone pilot with ENAC certification. General Manager of Cattolica Beni Immobili and Cattolica Agricola since November 2020.
